- Duración: 13 Horas (aproximadamente)
- Ubicación: Dubrovnik
- Código de producto: SPLGDBK
After pick up from your Dubrovnik hotel, get
ready to be amazed by the beauty of Split. Split is the main cultural and
economic center of Dalmatia, and the second largest city in Croatia. The core
of the old town is the famous Diocletian’s Palace constructed by Roman emperor Diocletian
1700 years ago. Today, it is one of the best preserved examples of late ancient
architecture. Many remains from the Roman period, as well as from other periods
of the past, may be seen in Split.
The Emperor’s square, or Peristil, the Cathedral of
Split, the bell tower of St. Duje, Prokurative, and Mestrovic gallery, are the
most famous sites to visit. The narrow passages and small streets of this city
are vibrant and alive with the spirit of the Mediterranean, while numerous
museums and galleries offer valuable artistic and historical collections. Visit
Split and walk down the famous Split waterfront called Riva to feel the
atmosphere of this beautiful city. Our local expert guide will show you most
important parts of Split in a walking tour. After the tour you will have a time
to explore Split on your own before returning to your comfortable vehicle and
relax on the drive back to Dubrovnik. On our drive back to Dubrovnik we may stop
on a road should you prefer to buy some organic products, such as mandarins and
honey, before returning to your accommodation.
